About the Duderstadt Center
The James and Anne Duderstadt Center opened in 1996 as a special place to provide faculty and students with the tools and collaborative space for creating the future. Located on the University of Michigan North Campus, the Duderstadt Center houses the Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library, the College of Engineering Computer Aided Engineering Network (CAEN), the Digital Media Commons, and the Millennium Project, the building provides a nexus for creative and technological innovation across disciplines. The Duderstadt Center is the largest public computing site at the University of Michigan.

Visitor Parking
Please view the University of Michigan's North Campus map for available visitor parking.
Employers may use the "Red Parking" visitors section of either the Walgreen Lot (NC27) or the Art & Architecture Lot (NC43), both lots are located near the conference site and offer visitor parking spaces. For directions to reach either lot, click on the link under "Directions" above. Visitor parking areas are identified by the "V" symbol. Payment of an hourly parking fee is required on Saturday. The visitor parking rate is approximately $1.20/hour and must be paid upon arrival. Fees may be paid by coin, cash or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover). Other areas within the lots represent permit parking. In these areas, display of the corresponding color-coded permit is required during enforcement hours only. Please allow at least 15 minutes to park, pay at the "Pay Here" station and walk to our office.
To reach the Duderstadt Center from the Walgreen Parking Lot (Parking Option 1): Walk through the Walgreen Drama Center and exit through the main doors on the south side of the building. Enter through the west side doors of Pierpont Commons and continue walking straight ahead through the first set of double doors. Proceed to the MICWIC table across from the Campus Information Desk.
To reach the Duderstadt Center from the Art & Architecture Parking Lot (Parking Option 2): Walk through the Art & Architecture building. Stay on the first level of the building and exit at the opposite end of the building. You will exit onto Bonisteel Boulevard. Cross Bonisteel Boulevard and enter the Chrysler Center (Chrysler Center is connected to the east end of Pierpont Commons, and Pierpont Commons is located on the corner of Bonisteel and Murfin directly across from Art & Architecture). Proceed to the MICWIC table across from the Campus Information Desk.

One of the top Michigan hotels, rooms have either 2 queen beds or 1 king bed. All rooms have a private bath. Check-in is 3PM Friday, March 20, 2015; check-out is noon Saturday, March 21, 2015.

Students will be assigned two to a double-queen room and will be given priority access to rooms. Others that request lodging at Weber's Hotel will be assigned individual rooms by default, but may request a roommate on the registration form (see the registration page for details).
We hope to accommodate all attendees who request lodging at Weber's Hotel, but we cannot guarantee lodging. We will recommend alternate lodging convenient to the conference if we cannot accommodate your request. In this case, you will receive notification by March 9 and your payment for lodging at Weber's Hotel will be refunded.
